Job summary

Apex Engineering Group, Inc. seeks a GIS Project Specialist to support the GIS Coordinator on diverse GIS projects for internal and external clients. This role emphasizes data analysis, advanced map development, and configuring web-based GIS solutions within the ArcGIS environment.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Geography/ GIS and 3–5 years of ESRI experience, plus CAD data familiarity and Python/JavaScript scripting. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Geography, Computer Science, or GIS-related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience with ESRI GIS software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, Field Maps, Dashboards, Story Maps, Web App Builder or Experience Builder.

Responsibilities

• Prepare advanced maps and GIS analyses; automate GIS workflows.
• Develop presentation-quality cartography for internal use.
• Acquire and integrate spatial data into the organization’s GIS.
• Maintain QA procedures and process documentation.
• Collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively.
