Job summary
ASRC Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist to support the GIS Department Manager. The role focuses on creating and maintaining data, maps, and graphs using ESRI ArcGIS and related programs.
The selected candidate will digitize features, analyze data, and produce geospatial outputs for multiple teams. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of ArcGIS experience, familiarity with ArcGIS Pro 6.3+, ArcGIS Online, and Field Maps, as well as a strong grounding in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in GIS or GIS certificate preferred; combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two years' experience with ESRI ArcGIS, geography, computer science, or related field.
- Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Pro 6.3 or higher; ArcGIS Online and Field Maps preferred.
Responsibilities
- Digitize geographic features.
- Support and maintain geodatabases.
- Gather, analyze, and integrate data using GIS software.
- Create maps and graphs using GIS software and related equipment.
- Compile and analyze geographic data from field observations, satellite imagery, and maps.
