Apex Engineering Group is seeking a GIS Specialist to support the GIS Coordinator with data analysis, advanced map development, and web GIS solutions across multiple offices. The role emphasizes ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and automation within the ArcGIS environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of GIS experience, strong CAD knowledge, and the ability to travel regionally. The position offers growth towards internal and external consulting services and a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Geography, CS or GIS field.
• 3-5 years’ GIS ESRI suite experience including ArcGIS Pro/Online and Survey123/Field Maps/ Dashboards/ Story Maps.
• Knowledge of GIS in land development, public works and planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare advanced maps and GIS automation with GIS software.
• Produce presentation quality maps for internal use.
• Develop QA procedures and process documentation.
• Acquire spatial data and integrate it into the GIS.
• Maintain attention to detail across concurrent tasks and deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate clearly.
