Job summary

Magnolia River seeks a Software Technician to support GIS software, testing, configuration and data editing, with opportunities to work across internal and client projects. Early in career or seasoned, you’ll contribute to day-to-day software support and data tasks in a collaborative team.

You’ll perform geodatabase editing, queries, and analysis using Esri and GeoCurrent tools, assist with installation and configuration, and provide client tech support while adhering to safety and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Computer Science or related field with 1 year of software/Esri experience or equivalent.
• Experience compiling formal written reports for external clients.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and SQL Server is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with software support, testing, configuration, quality control, deployment, and data editing.
• Perform Geodatabase editing, querying, and analysis with Esri or GeoCurrent tools.
• Install and configure Esri, GeoCurrent, and third-party software.
• Provide client technical support for GeoCurrent and Esri products.
• Track daily activity and report to supervisor.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
