Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S in Geosciences, Geography, GIS, or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in GIS in a role that required GIS to be used more than 50% of the work week.
• 1+ year Azure Cloud experience.
• Basic working knowledge of computer science and its application to Python, JavaScript, and git repo management.
• A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex ideas into user experiences and visualize them in user interfaces and workflow diagrams in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Support Microsoft cloud infrastructure like Virtual Machines, Azure SQL, Azure SQL with SDE, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Apps and Functions.
• Support the development of SharePoint sites with custom JavaScript code inside iFrames and PowerApps.
• Write Python and JavaScript code for data management, QA/QC, and automation between GIS and non-GIS applications as well as field mobile data collection apps.
• Identify and implement permission management in Azure, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Maintain and catalog field GPS and mobile data collection equipment and protocol with a virtual MDM system.
