Job summary

Tetra Tech in Houston, TX seeks a GIS Analyst to support its environmental team across Texas. The role focuses on development, implementation, maintenance, and analysis of GIS data and applications for environmental consulting, engineering, and infrastructure projects.

You will work with project managers, engineers, and GIS professionals to create maps, perform spatial analyses, manage geodatabases, and support desktop, web, and mobile GIS solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in GIS-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional GIS experience using ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience with environmental consulting, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with GPS data collection and processing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze GIS data and applications for environmental projects.
• Create mapping products and geodatabases; support ArcGIS Enterprise/Web/Mobile.
• Perform spatial analyses and geographic statistics.
• Ensure data quality and metadata documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to define GIS requirements and deliver on schedule.
• Assist with field work and occasional travel as required.
