Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. seeks a dynamic GIS Analyst to provide technical support for clients and staff. You will collaborate with project managers, clients, and GIS staff to ensure quality and timely GIS support across projects.

The role involves data creation, database management, and production of environmental report figures, with opportunities for professional growth and certifications as you contribute to breaking new ground in environmental and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Data entry/conversion across CAD, GIS, GPS and other data formats into a common schema.
• Cartography and graphic design expressed through maps and online viewers.
• Basic GIS analysis to examine locations, attributes, and relationships in spatial data.
• Geodatabase development and design to support business processes.
• Advanced GIS analysis and model building for spatial workflows.
• Ability to translate client needs to GIS-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• General geographic data creation, editing, and analysis.
• Develop and manage enterprise GIS databases, webmaps, and mobile apps.
• Produce figures for environmental reports.
• Query geographic data for information used in reports/proposals.
• Work with CAD and other geospatial data sources.
• Collaborate with TRC staff to improve project methodologies and deliverables.
• Think critically, see the big picture, and solve problems.
