Qualifications

• BA or BS in Geosciences, Geography, GIS, or similar field.
• 5+ years GIS experience in a role requiring GIS >50% of the week.
• 1+ year Azure Cloud experience.
• Basic working knowledge of computer science and its application to Python, JavaScript, and git.

Responsibilities

• Act as GIS analyst for projects with ecological services components and other duties as assigned.
• Assist environmental surveys, reporting, and permitting processes.
• Support Microsoft cloud infrastructure components (VMs, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, etc.).
• Develop Python and JavaScript for data management, QA/QC, and automation between GIS and non-GIS apps.
• Identify and implement permission management in Azure and SharePoint as needed.
• Maintain and catalog field GPS and Mobile Data Collection equipment and protocol.
