Job summary

Sailor Health is a nationwide virtual practice transforming mental healthcare for older adults, offering therapists the freedom to work from home with admin support and a supportive clinical community. We provide Medicare-covered therapy, care navigation, and geriatrics-focused training, plus ongoing clinical consultation.

We have part-time and full-time roles on a fee-for-service basis. Start at 15 hours per week (1099) or 25 hours per week (W2) with workload tailored to your life, and enjoy

Qualifications

• Active, independent clinical license: LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent.
• Licensed in Alaska.
• Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Experience working with older adults or geriatric populations preferred.
• Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
• Medicare billing experience a plus — we handle it either way.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting.
• Design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Work independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive care team.
• Manage documentation efficiently using our streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools.
• Participate in regular (paid) case consultations & clinical leadership meetings.
