Job summary

Sailor Health is a nationwide virtual practice delivering Medicare-covered therapy to older adults from the comfort of home. We provide supportive clinical leadership, admin help, and a community of clinicians to thrive with.

Start at 15 hours per week as 1099 or 25 hours per week as W2 and tailor your workload to fit your life. We match you with patients, offer no marketing, and encourage a full caseload quickly.

Qualifications

• Active, independent clinical license (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/LPC or equivalent).
• Licensed in West Virginia.
• Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Experience with older adults/geriatric populations preferred.
• Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
• Medicare billing experience is a plus — we handle it either way.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting.
• Design personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Work independently while being part of a collaborative, supportive care team.
• Manage documentation efficiently using our streamlined EMR and AI documentation tools.
• Participate in regular (paid) case consultations & clinical leadership meetings.
