Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking a Field Application Specialist to train and support customers on SOPHiA GENETICS Bundle solutions, focusing on NGS and liquid handling workflows. You will work with sales and product teams to convey customer needs and help translate complex scientific terms into practical guidance.

This field-based role requires hands-on wet-lab experience, willingness to travel across Europe (60-75%), fluent English, and the ability to draft technical documents and protocols.

Qualifications

• Hands-on NGS wet-lab experience required.
• Experience in a Field Application Specialist (FAS) or SME role preferred; sales experience not required.
• Experience with Hamilton automation is highly valuable.
• Ability to travel 60-75% across Europe.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train and support customers on SOPHiA Bundle solutions.
• Interact with sales/product teams to relay customer feedback and needs.
• Draft scientific and quality documents, including fact sheets and work instructions.
• Contribute to ongoing laboratory projects and protocol optimisations.
