Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS is seeking an Implementation Scientist to lead customer implementations from planning to adoption, using our MaxCare Program. You will collaborate across implementation, field applications, technical, and commercial teams to ensure successful delivery of our genomic analysis platform.

The role requires translating wet-lab, data, and clinical requirements into concrete implementation decisions while traveling up to 30% and supporting customers across the US.

Qualifications

• BSc, MSc or PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Oncology or similar.
• Direct experience with Next-Generation Sequencing, library preparation, bioinformatics and related consumables.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through successful implementation from planning to adoption using MaxCare Program.
• Draft a Statement of Work with technical and Sales teams.
• Manage project schedules, sampling strategies, and issue resolution.
• Provide onboarding and technical training for the NGS workflow.
• Translate wet-lab, bioinformatics, data, and clinical requirements into implementation decisions.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure a consistent experience.
