Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Generative AI Lead to drive the design and delivery of scalable .NET-based applications integrated with Generative AI. You will lead hands-on development, mentor teams, and collaborate with architects to deliver secure, enterprise-grade solutions using Python, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, and FastAPI.

Ideal candidates have strong .NET, Python, and AI infra experience, with a track record of delivering production-grade APIs and cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on software development experience with .NET technologies.
• Strong Python development skills and production-ready APIs with FastAPI.
• Practical experience designing or implementing Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LangChain, and LangGraph.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable, enterprise-grade architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery and mentor software teams.
• Strong understanding of testing, security, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development and implementation of .NET and Agentic AI projects.
• Design and build Generative AI solutions using Python, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, and FastAPI.
• Mentor development teams and uphold engineering best practices and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with architects to define scalable, secure designs.
• Translate requirements into reusable software components.
• Support reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and update the engineering roadmap.
• Communicate decisions, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
