Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a hands-on Lead Agentic AI to drive scalable software solutions blending .NET engineering with Generative AI capabilities in the United States. You will lead technical execution, mentor teams, and collaborate with architects to build enterprise-grade applications using Python, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, and FastAPI.

The role requires strong .NET skills, Python API development with FastAPI, and experience delivering Agentic/Generative AI solutions.

• Proven hands-on software development with .NET technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development and implementation of software projects using .NET and Agentic AI technologies.
• Design and build Generative AI solutions using Python, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, and FastAPI.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams while promoting engineering best practices and high-quality delivery standards.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to define scalable, secure, and maintainable solution designs.
• Translate business and technical requirements into clear implementation approaches and reusable software components.
• Support technical reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement throughout the development lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate appropriate capabilities into the engineering roadmap.
• Communicate technical decisions, risks, and progress clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders.
