Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Generative AI Lead – .NET to guide design and delivery of scalable enterprise solutions. The role blends .NET engineering with Generative AI, Python APIs (FastAPI), and RAG tooling, leading teams and collaborating with architects.

You will drive technical execution, mentor developers, design secure architectures, and translate requirements into reusable components while maintaining high delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on development with .NET technologies.
• Strong Python development skills and production-ready API experience (FastAPI).
• Experience designing or implementing Agentic/Generative AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable enterprise software.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery and mentor teams.
• Strong practices in code quality, testing, security and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development and implementation of .NET and Agentic AI projects.
• Design and build Generative AI solutions using Python, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph and FastAPI.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Collaborate with architects and leaders to define scalable, secure designs.
• Translate requirements into clear implementation approaches and reusable components.
• Support reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate capabilities into the roadmap.
• Communicate decisions, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
