Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Generative AI Lead – .NET to drive design and delivery of scalable software solutions that merge .NET engineering with Generative AI capabilities. You will lead technical execution, mentor teams, and collaborate with architects to build enterprise-grade apps using Python, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, and FastAPI.

Ideal candidates have hands-on .NET and Python API experience, plus practical knowledge of agentic and Generative AI, RAG, LangChain/LangGraph.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on .NET development experience.
• Strong Python development skills and FastAPI APIs.
• Experience designing Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions.
• Hands-on with RAG, LangChain, LangGraph.
• Ability to lead technical delivery and mentor teams.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, testing, security, and performance.
• Experience in cloud-native, microservices, and API integration.
• Familiarity with LLMs, vector search, prompt engineering, and responsible AI.
• Experience in client-facing or consulting environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development of .NET and Agentic AI projects.
• Design Generative AI solutions using Python, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, and FastAPI.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leaders to define scalable, secure designs.
• Translate requirements into clear implementation approaches and reusable components.
• Support technical reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate capabilities into the roadmap.
• Communicate technical decisions, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
