Job summary

Reserv is seeking a highly organized General Liability Adjuster for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will handle diverse liability claims, from premises to construction, while delivering top-tier customer service and expert policy interpretation.

You will triage inventory, establish reserves, and negotiate settlements within authority. The position emphasizes learning, collaboration, and adaptability in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Active adjuster license required; resident state license preferred, otherwise a Designated Home State license.
• 3–5 years of General Liability experience, including Premise, Habitational, Auto, Garagekeepers, BOPs, Dwelling.
• Knowledge of policy interpretation; drafting Reservation of Rights letters and coverage declinations.
• Willing to obtain all licenses within 60 days and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle all General Liability claims (Slip & Fall, Habitational, Risk Transfer, Construction) with high-quality service.
• Gather information from customers to initiate claims and explain policy coverage and next steps.
• Manage an inventory of claims and establish initial reserves; adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and SOPs across cases.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys within authority.
• Contribute to updates of claims guidelines and processes.
• Coordinate with outside investigators and client counsel to resolve claims.
• Pursue ongoing learning on personal lines, case law, and policy changes.
