The successful candidate will have at least 2 years handling commercial liability claims, with construction liability experience a plus, and proven negotiation and analytical skills in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years handling Commercial Liability claims.
• Construction liability claims experience a plus.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Experience with mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Strong collaboration with legal counsel and claims teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigate & Evaluate – conduct in-depth claim investigations, gather statements and determine coverage.
• Reserve Management – timely and adequate reserving.
• Document Management – maintain organized claim files, reports and communications.
• Negotiate & Resolve – strategically negotiate settlements for fair, timely resolutions.
• Stay Current – keep up with evolving statutes, policy conditions, and trends.
• Navigate Technology – operate in a paperless Claims Management System.
• Engage in Legal Proceedings – travel for depositions, mediations and trials.
