Job summary

Omnicell seeks an experienced Director, Assistant General Counsel – Pharmacy Services to lead commercial contracting for outpatient pharmacy offerings, including specialty services. This player-coach role negotiates agreements, develops customer terms, and drives strategic initiatives with stakeholder teams across privacy, product, finance, and sales.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years drafting complex contracts, 5+ years in pharmacy or related fields, and strong HIPAA/HITECH expertise.

Qualifications

J.D. licensed to practice in at least one state.
10+ years drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
5+ years in pharmacy or pharmacy-adjacent industry.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH and privacy laws.

Responsibilities

Advise sales and business leaders to develop commercial strategy and maintain deal velocity.
Negotiate and review commercial contracts per risk guidelines.
Negotiate contracts with ecosystem partners (resellers, software licenses).
Develop customer-facing terms for new and enhanced offerings.
Collaborate with stakeholders for due diligence and cross-functional alignment.
Coordinate workflow, manage resources, and optimize team output.
Develop, motivate, and lead attorneys and legal professionals.
Provide training to sales and business stakeholders on best practices.
