Job summary

UNICEF seeks an experienced consultant to support the Gender Equality Section in data quality assurance and annual GEAP reporting. The role involves coordinating with country offices, preparing gender equality annual reports, and developing guidance materials to support technical assistance.

You will ensure accuracy, alignment with donor requirements, and compliance with corporate standards while contributing to UN reporting for gender equality initiatives.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in gender and development.
• Experience in managing programmes/projects, including budgets and contracts.
• Strong data analysis and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support data quality assurance and aggregation for GEAP annual reporting.
• Facilitate production of gender equality annual reports documenting results, challenges, lessons learned.
• Develop guidance documents, presentations, and other resources to support technical assistance to country offices.
• Prepare reports for the UN System-Wide Action Plan on gender equality and for donors.
• Coordinate with GEAP hub and stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met.
