Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a GenAI Test Automation Lead/Architect for P&C Insurance to shape testing strategy and automation transformation across legacy apps. You will lead QA in collaboration with onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality releases and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include defining test plans and automation roadmaps, delivering end-to-end automation with UFT, Selenium/Playwright, and API testing, and guiding defect management and progress reporting to

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of QA experience with 5+ years in test automation leadership.
• Hands-on expertise in UFT, Selenium/Playwright, API testing, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
• Domain expertise in Property & Casualty insurance, especially claims processing.
• Experience in database testing (Oracle/PLSQL) and strong SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and automation roadmaps.
• Lead end-to-end automation delivery for releases using UFT, Selenium, and modern frameworks.
• Identify automation opportunities, define scope and coverage, and select tools/frameworks.
• Manage test execution, defect lifecycle, and coordination with offshore QA teams.
• Track and report testing progress, coverage, and results to stakeholders through dashboards and summaries.
