Job summary

The Hartford is hiring an Automation Test Lead to design, implement, and govern automated testing frameworks that enable Continuous Testing using Gen AI technologies. You will collaborate with vendors, IT leadership, and business units to align automation priorities with IT strategy and to improve test coverage and efficiency.

You will mentor Scrum QA teams, drive end-to-end quality execution, and contribute to the overall quality metrics and strategies in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in leading Quality engineering teams.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript/Typescript and Python and test automation tools.
• Experience with DevOps tools and test data management is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum/SAFe and collaboration tools like Jira/Rally.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks across applications.
• Mentor QA teams on best practices and scalable test design.
• Collaborate with vendors, IT leadership, and business units on automation priorities.
• Promote adoption of automated testing solutions and AI-assisted testing.
• Track quality metrics and drive improvements in defect reduction and test efficiency.
