Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Generative AI and Data Science Intern to join our AI & Data Science team. This full-time internship offers hands-on experience in building predictive models and GenAI solutions to support R&D, Finance, Manufacturing, Legal, and Environment/Safety functions.

You will work with Python, Azure ML Studio, and Streamlit, contributing to dataset design, model tuning, and production deployments. Enrollment in a relevant degree is required, with a 6+ month commitment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment at an accredited college pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree.
• 2+ years programming in Python with pandas and scikit-learn.
• 1+ year practical data science experience creating predictive ML models or GenAI apps.
• Strong communicator with ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
• Fast learner and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models using Azure platform tools.
• Write data preparation and analysis routines in Python with pandas/scikit-learn.
• Participate in dataset design and modeling discussions.
• Integrate data science solutions with production environments.
• Design GenAI apps and support full-stack development for small tools.
• Contribute to GenAI hybrid search and guardrail strategies.
