Job summary

ALTOUR, a leading corporate travel management company and a division of Internova Travel Group, is seeking a Manager, GDS Automation & Support. The role guides a team responsible for GDS configuration, automation, and day-to-day operations across multiple travel tech platforms from a remote US location.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of GDS experience, demonstrated leadership, and strong scripting/automation skills to optimize agent productivity, ticketing, and fulfillment workflows.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience supporting GDS environments within a Travel Management Company (TMC) or corporate travel organization.
• Leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience in technical or operational teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with GDS scripting and automation, agent configuration, PCC/OID administration, and queue/workflow automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• The Manager leads a team responsible for GDS administration, automation support, agent configuration, and operational tech services; provides escalation assistance for complex GDS issues.
• Manage PCCs, OIDs, branch structures, office profiles, and POS configurations; maintain agent profiles and workstation setups.
• Configure agent work environments, credentials, user profiles, access permissions, and security controls; maintain GDS settings and workflows for reservations and ticketing.
• Develop and maintain GDS scripts, macros, and automation tools; support booking/ticketing/fulfillment workflows; test and deploy updates.
• Administer GDS queues and workflows; monitor performance and optimize routing and automation opportunities.
• Escalate and troubleshoot GDS issues; coordinate with vendor support as needed; track recurring problems for long-term fixes.
• Assist with integration and connectivity between GDS and Sabre, Amadeus, Concur Travel, Atriis, Deem, Kayak for Business and others.
