AES Corporation is seeking a Developer, Gas Generation to lead the development of natural gas generation projects for large commercial and industrial customers. You will oversee the full lifecycle from site identification through construction handoff, coordinating with internal teams to deliver integrated energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing at least 500MW of natural gas generation projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or another related field.
• Knowledge of project development, permitting, utility coordination, interconnection, pipeline infrastructure, and commercial contracting.

Responsibilities

• Lead gas generation project development from site identification through construction support.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Data Center Development, Renewable Generation Development, Solutions Engineering, and other internal teams to develop integrated Powered Land Solutions.
• Evaluate project feasibility by coordinating siting, fuel supply, interconnection, infrastructure, and permitting strategies.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, financial models, and development risk registers.
• Coordinate pipeline identification, utility engagement, and fuel supply strategy while supporting commercial negotiations.
