Job summary

Five Star Solutions is seeking friendly, dependable Customer Service Representatives to support customers with their natural gas utility accounts from a remote location.

You will assist customers with questions about bills, payments, and account information, conveying a professional and empathetic approach while maintaining privacy and accuracy.

Starting pay is $14 per hour plus a $1 differential for nights and weekends, with full-time benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service, call center, or office experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working with billing and account information.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
• Professional and empathetic approach to customer concerns.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable handling potentially difficult customer interactions.
• Must be comfortable cross training on other accounts.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions regarding their natural gas bills and account balances
• Process and assist with customer payments
• Research and resolve account-related issues
• Explain billing information, charges, and payment options clearly
• Update and maintain accurate customer account information
• Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Follow established procedures and privacy requirements
• Document customer interactions accurately
• Escalate issues when additional assistance or authorization is required
• Provide excellent customer service on every interaction
