UnitedHealth Group is seeking an accounting professional to support Optum Serve and Global Medical Services with month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls. You will work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

and interact with global teams to ensure accurate balance sheets and journal entries. This role requires at least 3 years of accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting, and knowledge of US GAAP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Ability to flex regarding demands from business with different time zones.

Responsabilités

• Month end close oversight, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L review.
• Prepare journals and assist with internal controls and audits.
• Coordinate with auditors across time zones and support accounting projects.
