Job summary

MDS Communications seeks a Communication Specialist to support charity fundraising efforts from a home office in Texas. You will use scripts to contact donors and prospective donors, securing gifts for multiple clients across a typical 8-hour shift.

We provide in-depth training and assign you to one of four client teams. A wired home internet connection, quiet workspace, and a commitment to causes are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more of outbound telemarketing experience or stable long-term employment history.
• Dedicated wired internet connection.
• A quiet place to work at home free from household interruptions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn and support charitable causes.

Responsibilities

• Receive in-depth training and be assigned to one of four teams.
• Call 4–8 different clients per day using predictive dialing.
• Engage donors with a positive, script-driven approach.
• Secure financial gifts for clients and maintain donor relations.
• Meet fundraising and productivity metrics.
