Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services is seeking an experienced fund accountant to support hedge fund clients with P&L allocations, fees, and financial reporting. The role involves preparing board materials and regulatory documents while ensuring NAV accuracy and timely payments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in fund accounting, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Advent Geneva World Investor. Remote-friendly with a focus on quality and long-term retention.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of fund accounting experience for hedge funds.
• Proficiency with Advent Geneva World Investor and portfolio/investor accounting systems.
• Experience with financial reporting and risk management considerations.
• Four-year degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/ Economics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Allocate P&L to investors and calculate management and performance fees.
• Process and record fund expense payments and ensure timely wire requests.
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to fund managers and clients.
• Prepare materials for board meetings, financial statements, audits, and regulatory requests.
• Communicate with internal/external entities to ensure service levels and review NAV/investor statements for accuracy.
• Mentor, train, and support fund accountants.
• Ensure fund accounting tasks are completed accurately and timely.
• Serve as liaison with fund managers and service providers with hedge fund experience.
• Knowledge of hedge fund investments is a plus.
