Job summary

Stone Coast Fund Services Ltd. seeks a qualified fund accountant to support hedge fund clients with P&L allocation, expense processing and investor reporting. You will work closely with fund managers, prepare materials for financial statements and audits, and help ensure compliance with internal standards.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, strong Excel skills, and experience with accounting systems such as Advent Geneva World Investor. Remote work options are available where eligible.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in fund accounting for hedge funds.
• Primary liaison with fund managers and other fund service providers.
• Experience with Advent Geneva World Investor is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel is a must.
• Four-year college degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or Economics.

Responsibilities

• Allocate profit and loss to investors including the calculation of management and performance fees.
• Process and record fund expense payments and ensure cash wire requests are completed accurately and timely.
• Generate and deliver fund and investor reports to fund managers and investors of assigned clients.
• Prepare and deliver materials for board meetings, financial statements and audit/regulatory requests.
• Communicate with internal/external entities to ensure best-in-class service; review NAV and investor statements for accuracy.
• Mentor, train, and support fund accountants.
• Assure fund accounting tasks are completed accurately and timely.
• Experience with portfolio/investor accounting systems; Advent Geneva World Investor a plus.
• Knowledge of investments held by hedge funds is a plus.
