Job summary

Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a Tier 3 Patient Scheduling Specialist (Remote). You will coordinate patient appointments for imaging services, support referring providers, and ensure accurate, positive scheduling experiences from home.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced scheduling environment, while maintaining compassionate patient care and adherence to guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in customer service and healthcare contact is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume scheduling environment.
• Attention to detail and following instructions accurately is required.
• Ability to work remotely with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments across imaging services.
• Support referring providers and clarify orders as needed.
• Communicate exam prep, scheduling requirements, and details to patients.
• Handle inquiries about costs, billing, and insurance.
• Contact referring providers to obtain missing information.
• Manage scheduling worklists and follow-up recommendations.
• Provide call triage and route messages to the appropriate departments.
• Process faxes promptly and accurately.
