Optivide, Inc. is seeking a remote, full-time Backend Engineer to lead TypeScript backend development and GraphQL services for a climate-finance platform. You will design scalable APIs, ensure security, and collaborate with Gen AI experts to integrate AI-driven climate finance features.

Responsibilities include estimating costs and timelines, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and implementing robust monitoring, error tracking, and secure mobile app integration across platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in TypeScript backend development for scalable APIs.
• Strong GraphQL integration and data modelling skills.
• Knowledge of mobile app security best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Set up regular online office hours to track progress and outcomes.
• Estimate costs, timelines, and challenges for backend and mobile topics.
• Develop, maintain and enforce mobile app development and API governance.
• Coordinate with Gen AI professionals for core AI climate service.
• Conduct security audits and identify risk mitigation plans.
• Provide SOP guidance reviewed by the Company.
