Job summary

CVS Health is seeking candidates for the Infrastructure Software Engineering Program (ISEP), a two-year development path to become a full‑stack automation engineer. This remote role offers hands‑on training within a fast‑paced IT organization and exposure to Agile, DevSecOps, and XP practices.

You will support existing applications, write high‑quality code, collaborate with analysts, and learn to deploy enterprise‑scale solutions using Python, YAML, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a relevant IT position (academic or professional).
• 6+ months experience with AI/ML, GenAI, and agent development.
• 6+ months experience programming, developing, or coding.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the support of existing applications and/or development efforts.
• Writing high‑quality code compliant with enterprise and industry regulations.
• Collaborating with business analysts and product owners to ensure understanding of business priorities.
• Analyzing and improving the efficiency of various systems and services.
• Proactively monitoring industry trends and identifying opportunities to implement new technologies.
• Creating and executing required test scenarios/plans to ensure complete testing on all new and changed components.
• Sharing knowledge openly and willingly with other IT personnel.
• Troubleshooting problems identified by users.
• Using automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, etc. for automating use cases.
• Work within Agile/XP/Kanban delivery frameworks.
