Job summary

LMI is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join the IronGate platform, a data acquisition and transfer system used in federal environments. You will work across UI and API layers using Angular, React, Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL, delivering secure, scalable features for threat detection and decision-making.

We require an active Secret security clearance and experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant software engineering experience in production environments.
• Demonstrated full stack development with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Proven experience developing React applications for production.
• Strong frontend skills with Angular and TypeScript; React experience.
• Hands-on experience building React applications with hooks, state management, and routing.
• Solid HTML/CSS, responsive design, and component-based UI patterns.
• Experience with UI libraries such as PrimeNG.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain full-stack features for IronGate using Angular, TypeScript, Node.js and Express.
• Design and develop new and existing application features in React, ensuring interoperability with Angular components.
• Develop and document RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Design and optimize data models in PostgreSQL with indexing and query optimization.
• Work within a Kubernetes-based architecture, containerize and deploy backend services.
• Enhance frontend UX using Angular, React, and PrimeNG for mission users.
• Support data integration flows using Airbyte for assets, threats, and operational data.
• Collaborate on security and resilience, integrating with AWS GuardDuty and DevSecOps practices.
• Participate in code reviews and design sessions for modular architectures.
• Embrace AI-driven development practices and ensure safe production-ready AI-assisted code.
• Support automated testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot performance and ensure high availability in containerized environments.
• Contribute to future arch evolution with Spark, Hudi, Elasticsearch, Kong, and Python APIs.
