Job summary

LMI is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and modernize secure, cloud-native applications supporting federal missions. You will build front-end in TypeScript/Angular and back-end in Node.js or Python with PostgreSQL, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, own complex features, and collaborate with product, platform, and cybersecurity teams to deliver scalable, secure software for government agencies while navigating security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of professional software engineering experience.
• TypeScript, Angular, JavaScript expertise.
• Node.js or Python back-end development.
• PostgreSQL and SQL proficiency.
• Lead features and make architectural decisions.
• Authentication, authorization, secure development, and CI/CD.
• Git, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable full-stack web apps.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using TypeScript/Angular.
• Develop back-end services and RESTful APIs using Node.js or Python.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and data access layers.
• Independently lead complex features and architectural decisions.
• Support modernization with cloud-native architectures and reusable components.
• Implement secure coding, authentication, automated testing, and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, platform, and cybersecurity teams.
