LMI Government Consulting is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with frontend (React, TypeScript, CSS, HTML) and backend (Node.js, Express.js, OpenAPI, relational databases) expertise to join our app team. This role emphasizes hands-on coding and secure, scalable solutions for government users.

You will collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to ship features quickly, improve performance, and ensure robust API design and data models for mission-ready systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Expertise in full stack development with React and Node.js.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools is a plus.
• Strong frontend skills: React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS and responsive design.
• Backend skills: Express.js, Prisma ORM or relational databases, SQL, indexing and optimization.
• Experience with testing tools and building automated tests into delivery.
• Familiarity with secure SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Write quality software and participate in code reviews.
• Support system design decisions for APIs, data models, and UI components.
• Develop AI-driven features with safe, production-grade guardrails and tests.
• Build intuitive front-end experiences using React and modern libraries.
• Create secure back-end services with Express.js and Prisma ORM.
• Collaborate across teams to ship features quickly and securely.
• Write and review unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
