Job summary

Skill is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join the Music Videos squad within the Music X organization. You will work across the full technology stack to power video delivery for hundreds of millions of listeners worldwide.

This hands-on role will own features end-to-end—from building React experiences on the artist platform to developing backend services and data pipelines that process and serve video at scale. The position is remote but requires EST hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience across frontend and backend
• Proficient in TypeScript and React; backend in Java/Kotlin/Python/Go
• Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred)
• Strong practices: CI/CD, observability, testing, and code quality

Responsibilities

• Join an autonomous cross-functional Agile team and deliver new product experiences
• Build and maintain full-stack features for an artist-facing platform
• Design, develop, and operate backend services in Java/Kotlin with React/TypeScript frontend
• Own reliability, scalability, and performance of video ingestion and delivery pipelines
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science to solve video publishing challenges
• Contribute to shared libraries, standards, and engineering best practices
• Serve as a technical leader and advocate for engineering quality
