Job summary

AllianceIT Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Kotlin & Ruby-on-Rails) for a fully remote role, working from LATAM with US clients.

You will design, build, and ship production-ready services and internal web applications, collaborating with product, design, and engineering leadership to keep systems reliable and scalable. The day-to-day focuses on backend and tooling across JVM (Java, Kotlin), Elixir, Ruby, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and related

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Fluency with Kotlin, Ruby-on-Rails, TypeScript.
• Experience building production-ready web applications with reliability and security.
• Ability to influence architecture, standards and delivery.
• Familiarity with event-based architectures and Kafka; knowledge of GraphQL APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship backend services and internal tooling end-to-end.
• Produce high-quality, secure, and testable code across the stack.
• Develop across JVM (Java/Kotlin), Elixir, Ruby, React, TS, GraphQL, Kafka, AWS/Lambda, databases.
• Influence architecture decisions and delivery standards for your services.
• Review pull requests, mentor teammates, and assist onboarding.
• Deploy code to production responsibly for users and operators.
