Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years focused on Ruby on Rails.
• Expert Ruby, Rails conventions and ecosystem (RSpec, Sidekiq).
• Frontend proficiency with React and CSS/HTML.
• Deep data modeling with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• DevOps familiarity: AWS/Heroku/GCP, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent English communication; comfortable in a distributed, remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural evolution of Ruby on Rails applications at scale.
• Deliver high-quality full-stack code with Rails backend and React frontend.
• Identify and resolve Rails bottlenecks; optimize latency and performance.
• Provide technical leadership: code reviews, CI/CD standards, mentoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to map product vision into technical roadmaps.
