Job summary

CodeGeniusRecruit is seeking a versatile software engineer to build and ship full-stack applications and internal tools. You will integrate pre-release model APIs, evaluate telemetry, and diagnose failures to guide the research team.

You will prototype rapidly against changing requirements while delivering incremental working software. The role requires hands-on experience across the stack, strong communication skills, and the ability to onboard quickly onto unfamiliar codebases.

Qualifications

• Professional experience building and shipping production software.
• Expertise in at least one of Python, Java, Rust, C#, or C++, plus proficiency in a second language.
• Experience across the stack, including backend services, modern front-end frameworks, databases, and cloud deployment.
• Ability to onboard onto an unfamiliar codebase and deliver working code quickly.
• Strong written communication to explain complex technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack applications, services, and internal tools using Python, Java, Rust, C#, C++, or TypeScript.
• Integrate pre-release model APIs into working software, including tool interfaces, evaluation harnesses, and telemetry.
• Diagnose and document model and integration failure modes, providing clear feedback for the research team.
• Prototype quickly against shifting requirements, delivering working increments with limited up-front specification.
• Collaborate with the engineering manager and other engineers to maintain code quality and architecture.
