Job summary

Burq, Inc. seeks a high-impact full-stack engineer to own end-to-end features for our delivery platform. You will build APIs, integrations, and interfaces used by enterprise retailers, from design conversations to production and beyond.

You will ship secure, scalable links between Burq and customer systems, thrive in an AI-native workflow, and raise the bar on reliability and performance across dashboards and services.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Strong backend with Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript and React frontend.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices; AWS.
• SQL and NoSQL databases; third-party integrations and webhooks.
• AI-native mindset; ability to use AI tools daily.

Responsibilities

• Own design, implementation, and delivery of complex features in backend services and web apps.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and webhooks for enterprise integrations with high reliability.
• Lead integrations from scoping to go-live with product, success, and customer teams.
• Improve Burq Dashboard using data and feedback for faster, smoother operations.
• Own production quality: monitoring, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Raise engineering standards through reviews and technical design input; mentor others.
• Use AI tools daily for development, testing, and debugging.
