Job summary

Open Core Ventures is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build web applications and embed AI capabilities across our core functions. Your work will empower the business by automating workflows and scaling AI-driven software.

You will own the internal systems to launch and support multiple companies monthly, assess open source projects, and contribute OSS to the ecosystem. You’ll also serve as the system administrator for OCV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or equivalent experience.
• Backoffice workflow automation background.
• Proficiency with LLMs, APIs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Ruby on Rails experience is a plus.
• CI/CD pipelines experience, testing, containerization, and deployments.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Own internal software used to launch and support multiple companies monthly, with AI-driven automation.
• Identify and assess open source projects to start new companies.
• Contribute to OSS and support portfolio companies, even before founders join.
• Serve as system administrator for Open Core Ventures.
