Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer (MUMPS) for a 100% remote role supporting Veterans Affairs (VA). The position requires experience in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache and healthcare IT, with a Public Trust (MBI) clearance and a salary range of $85,389 – $116,975.

This is a 100% US-based remote opportunity, with emphasis on QA, testing, and system integrations involving VistA, FileMan, HL7, FHIR, and related standards. Department: Veterans Affairs (VA).

Qualifications

• Experience with MUMPS and InterSystems Cache environments.
• Experience working in healthcare/government regulated environments.
• Experience developing and executing detailed test plans and cases.

Responsibilities

• Support testing and QA activities for healthcare applications in MUMPS/Cache.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts, and procedures.
• Validate software enhancements, releases, defects, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, product owners, and end users to validate requirements and test objectives.
• Track and report testing metrics, defects, risks, and status.
