Job summary

ICF’s Global Health and Development unit seeks a Full Stack Developer to build AI-powered applications for global health and survey programs. You will create applications, APIs, and data services, working with AI engineers and field teams to move solutions from prototype to production.

This role can be remote within the United States, with occasional international travel. It is contingent on program funding and requires U.S. citizenship for federal contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years, OR
• Master's degree with minimum 2 years, of professional full stack development experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience integrating LLMs into production systems
• Minimum 1 year of experience with a major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• U.S. citizenship is required by federal government contract
• Experience building production-grade applications with secure data handling

Responsibilities

• Build a governed data-access application with authentication, authorization, audit logging and disclosure controls
• Develop offline-first field tools for interviewers with intermittent connectivity
• Integrate AI services and expose model pipelines via APIs
• Specify, review, and deliver production code using agentic coding tools
• Design data services and schemas for survey metadata and AI results
• Ensure production readiness and create clear documentation for handover
• Communicate progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders
