Job summary

BECU is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to help modernize our digital platforms and deliver scalable member experiences. You will design, build, and evolve APIs, web applications, and data-driven systems with teams across engineering, product, and operations.

You’ll work with React, Java/.NET, cloud platforms, and CI/CD in an Agile setting, exploring AI-powered tooling to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years designing software and writing production code in a team.
• Experience delivering highly scalable solutions across multiple languages.
• Strong React development experience.
• Experience building and supporting APIs in Java and/or .NET environments.
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity).
• Experience with TDD and unit testing practices.
• Experience with Git workflows and code reviews.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable software solutions for member-facing and internal applications.
• Contribute to website modernization, personalization, and digital experience enhancements.
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations powering critical capabilities.
• Create data models, scripts, and migrations for scalable apps.
• Analyze requirements and propose performant, maintainable solutions.
• Write high-quality code, tests, and documentation; participate in reviews.
• Collaborate with peers across teams in an Agile environment.
• Explore AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and quality.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
