BECU is hiring a Full Stack Software Developer to advance our digital member experience. You’ll build scalable solutions, APIs, and modernize web platforms in a collaborative, Agile setting.

You will work with engineers, product owners, and leaders to deliver secure, reliable software and embrace AI-assisted development practices. Remote-friendly with flexible engagement for designated locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years designing software and writing production code in a team.
• Experience delivering scalable solutions across multiple programming languages and environments.
• Strong React development experience.
• Experience building and supporting APIs in Java and/or .NET environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable software solutions for member-facing and internal apps.
• Contribute to website modernization, personalization, and digital experience enhancements.
• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and integrations powering critical capabilities.
• Develop and maintain database components, data models, scripts, and migrations.
• Collaborate with teams to balance business needs, performance, and maintainability.
• Participate in CI/CD, testing, debugging, and code reviews to improve quality.
• Work with product owners and engineers in an Agile environment.
• Explore AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and quality.
• Support production deployments and issue troubleshooting.
• Identify automation opportunities to increase engineering efficiency.
