Job summary

BECU is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable member-facing and internal applications. You will modernize digital platforms, create APIs and integrations, and support AI-powered development practices across the engineering organization.

Remote or on-site work is available within our approved locations; candidates should be eligible to work in the United States. You’ll collaborate with engineers, product owners, and leaders to deliver high-quality software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years designing software and writing production code in a team environment.
• Experience delivering highly scalable solutions across multiple programming languages and environments.
• Strong REACT development experience.
• Experience building and supporting APIs in Java and/or .NET environments.
• Strong database experience including SQL and data-driven apps.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity).
• Experience with TDD and unit testing practices.
• Experience using Git and code review workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable software solutions for member-facing and internal applications.
• Support website modernization, personalization, and digital experience enhancements.
• Build, maintain, and integrate APIs and data services.
• Create data models, migrations, and database components for scalable apps.
• Collaborate in Agile teams with engineers, product owners, and leaders.
• Adopt AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Support production deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
