Job summary

SAIC's STG is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to join our growing team focused on an Agentic AI Platform. You will contribute across the full stack, from front-end experiences to robust backend services and cloud infrastructure components.

The role supports remote work anywhere in the United States and requires the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Collaboration with AI/ML engineers and product teams is essential to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; 2+ years of software development experience.
• Experience building front-end web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing backend services and APIs with Python, Java, or NodeJS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications using modern web technologies and low-code platforms.
• Build and style responsive interfaces within Mendix.
• Develop and maintain backend REST services and business logic for platform capabilities and AI workflows.
• Contribute to agentic AI components, including LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith integration.
• Support cloud-based services and infrastructure on AWS (OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, SQS).
• Develop IaC using Terraform, Packer, and Terragrunt.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product owners to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Assist testing, debugging, and performance optimization; maintain documentation.
