Job summary

CVS Health is seeking candidates for a two-year Infrastructure Software Engineering Program (ISEP) to become full-stack automation engineers. This fully remote opportunity is available nationwide, with a preference for East Coast candidates.

You will join CVS Health’s ISTS organization to train, learn, and contribute to cutting-edge IT security, automation, cloud, and AI initiatives within a Fortune 6 company.

Qualifications

• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, MIS, or related field preferred.
• 1+ years of IT experience in a relevant role (academic or professional).
• 6+ months of experience programming, developing, or coding.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, YAML, algorithms, data structures, front-end design.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, and deploying enterprise applications (e.g., Agile, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud concepts and providers (Azure, AWS, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Experience with data integration and relational/non-relational databases.
• Experience with cybersecurity, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, risk management, security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting existing applications and development efforts.
• Write high-quality code compliant with enterprise regulations.
• Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to adopt new technologies.
• Create and execute test scenarios/plans for new or changed components.
• Share knowledge openly with IT colleagues.
• Work within Agile, XP, and Kanban delivery frameworks.
