Job summary

CVS Health is launching an Infrastructure Software Engineering Program (ISEP) designed to train new engineers into automation and full-stack development within a fast-paced IT environment. The program emphasizes Agile/XP workflows, exposure to AI/ML, cloud platforms, and security practices while supporting CVS Health’s data-driven healthcare initiatives.

Participants will gain hands-on experience, structured training, and mentorship as they contribute to enterprise applications and automation

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a relevant IT position.
• 6+ months of experience with AI/ML, GenAI, and agent development.
• 6+ months of experience programming, developing, or coding.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/SE/MIS.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the support of existing applications and/or development efforts.
• Writing high-quality code compliant with enterprise and industry regulations.
• Collaborating with business analysts and product owners to ensure understanding of business priorities.
• Analyzing and improving the efficiency of various systems and services.
• Proactively monitoring industry trends and identifying opportunities to implement new technologies.
• Creating and executing test scenarios/plans to ensure complete testing on new/changed components.
• Sharing knowledge openly with other IT personnel.
• Troubleshooting problems identified by users.
• Using automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, etc. for automating use cases.
• Working within model delivery frameworks (Agile, XP, Kanban).
